Lafayette, IN – Arnett is pleased to announce that Dr. Eric Orenstein has joined the Orthopaedic Department. Dr. Orenstein will provide Orthopaedic Surgery services at the 2600 Ferry St. office.

Dr. Orenstein graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency at Loyola University Affiliate Hospitals in Illinois. He received his Fellowship in Joint Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Orenstein brings a new service to the Lafayette community. He is the area’s first surgeon to perform partial knee replacement surgery utilizing the Oxford Unicompartmental Knee System. Unlike total knee replacement, involving removal of the entire knee joint surface, a unicompartmental knee replaces only one side of the knee joint. This approach allows the outer compartment and all the ligaments to stay in tact allowing a more rapid recovery.
