Mastopexy Overview

Time Required
Usually 1-3 hours are needed for breast lift surgery. Time requirements can of course vary from case to case.
Side Effects
Breast lift side effects can include temporary discomfort, bruising, or swelling. Breasts may be temporarily numb, or the skin dry. Will be permanent scars.

Recovery
Patient wears a supportive bra home from surgery, and dressings over the incisions for about 2-3 weeks

Most patients generally need at least one week of breast lift recovery before returning to work, and about one month before attempting more strenuous activities
